Supply terms

Please read the quotation and these supply terms carefully before making any payment or confirming your order.

WINDOWS ALGARVE (WA)

Product specifications

  • White or coloured PVC profile Cortizo A70 (casement / tilt-and-turn) with a thermal transmittance of 0.9 W/m²K.
  • For sliding systems the Cortizo C70 de Correr system is used (Uw from 1.3 W/m²K) — specifications are fixed in the quotation.
  • ROTO hardware with RotoSil Nano coating.
  • Tilt-and-turn PVC windows A70 have an energy efficiency rating of A+.

Warranty

  • 10-year warranty on the PVC profile and 2 years on hardware from the date of delivery.
  • Manual and electric roller shutters as well as mosquito nets — 2-year warranty under the same conditions.
  • 2-year warranty on double-glazed units in the event of loss of seal (insulation properties).
  • Maintenance requests not covered by the warranty are carried out on a chargeable basis after a cost estimate is provided.
  • The warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from improper use or negligent handling.

Installation (if ordered by the client)

  • A responsible person on behalf of the client must be present on the day of the final measurements by WA.
  • The price in the quotation may be revised after the final measurement and agreement of all details on site.
  • Removal of existing window structures is charged separately — €10 per unit.
  • The price does not include finishing work, plastering, tiling or painting. WA does not carry out such work and accepts no responsibility for it.
  • WA is not responsible for damage to concealed utilities (electrical wiring, plumbing, telecommunications, etc.) unless they were clearly marked by the client in advance.
  • WA does not handle the obtaining of permits if they are required for the works.
  • On installation day the work area must be fully prepared. Windows must be freely accessible (remove furniture, curtains and other obstacles).
  • Roller shutter deliveries do not include protective covers or housing boxes. For electric shutters, switches and electrical connection are not included.
  • If the client is absent during the final measurement and/or on installation day, the work is deemed accepted; subsequent claims regarding materials or installation quality will not be entertained.
  • All post-completion enquiries must be sent by email with photographs or video proving the issue.

If the client does not order WA measurement and installation

  • Full responsibility for final dimensions and correct installation lies with the client.
  • Even if installation is not ordered, a WA specialist may visit to carry out the necessary measurements.
  • Delivery costs are calculated on request.
  • Collection from the WA warehouse or delivery to the client is arranged by prior agreement and subject to availability.

Production and delivery timelines

After order confirmation:

  • 20–30 working days — standard white profiles.
  • 60–80 working days — standard coloured profiles.
  • 90–180 working days — non-standard products (arched, round, trapezoidal, bi-fold, complex structures, etc.).

Installation is scheduled after production is complete, the remaining 50% of the order value has been paid, and in accordance with the order queue.

WA bears no legal liability for delays in production, delivery or installation caused by force majeure, manufacturing defects, lack of materials in stock or other circumstances beyond the company's control. In the event of a delay the client will be notified.

Payment

To confirm the order the client must carefully check the quotation and sign it, confirming the correctness of all specifications: structure type, opening method, colour, glazing type and accessories.

  • 50% of the total cost — upon order confirmation. Without this payment the order does not enter production.
  • The remaining 50% is paid once the products are ready for installation. Installation cannot be scheduled without full payment.
  • All prices include the applicable VAT rate.

Payment is made by bank transfer, bank card, cheque or cash at the company office.

Order confirmation

By confirming the quotation the client confirms that they have read these supply terms and agree with all technical specifications of the order, including: structure type; position of opening sashes; glazing type; locks; cylinders; handles; colour and other agreed specifications.

WA accepts no responsibility for changes that were not agreed in advance. Any changes must be sent by email, confirmed by the responsible manager and re-checked by the client before final order confirmation.
